Sue-Lee Marcelle

Sue-Lee Marcelle, 19, proudly represents the diverse and rural landscapes of Sangre Grande. After completing her A Levels at Upper-level Educational Institute, she is now pursuing a biology degree at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, focusing on cancer awareness and natural substances that may reduce its risk.

Alongside her studies, Sue-Lee helps with her family’s emergency response and massage therapy business and works part-time in marketing and promotions. She enjoys singing and performing with her family’s parang band, reflecting her cultural heritage. Passionate about youth empowerment, she raises awareness about lifestyle diseases and their impact on mental health, especially in underrepresented communities.
