Suana Kalee Sookdeo

Suana Kalee Sookdeo, 23, proudly represents Chaguanas. A past student of Holy Faith Convent, Couva, where she founded the Spoken Word and Book Clubs, served as an RBC Young Leader, and began volunteering at age seven. She earned the Makandal Daaga Scholarship in Law for activism and community service, graduated with honours from the University of the West Indies, and now attends Hugh Wooding Law School where she member of the Human Rights Club. Suana has represented Trinidad and Tobago internationally at the Hague Inter-University Law Debates and held leadership roles in the Law Society and Guild of Students. She enjoys reading, writing, public speaking, and mentoring youth.

Her contributions have been recognized by several government ministries including the Office of the Prime Minister, the Chaguanas Borough Corporation, and the Rotary Club for work in domestic violence awareness, youth empowerment, and charity initiatives. In 2022, she presented a public policy on inclusive education for children with learning disabilities through the Caribbean Youth Fellowship Programme. Through the Miss World platform, she aims to expand her advocacy for child protection and domestic violence awareness while inspiring positive change in communities.
