Monique Elizabeth Magalhaes

Monique Elizabeth Magalhaes, 22, proudly represents Vistabella, San Fernando. An alumna of St. Joseph’s Convent, San Fernando, she is currently a third-year Psychology student at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. Alongside her studies, Monique works at Bisou Bistro and Cakery as a front-of-house server, where she continues to develop her skills in service.

Passionate about movement through pilates, hiking, dragon dancing, and dragon boating, Monique believes strongly in the link between physical wellness and mental health. This belief inspires her Beauty with a Purpose project, which applies psychological principles and holistic healing to support women and girls, especially in underserved communities. Her initiative aims to dismantle mental health stigma in Trinidad and Tobago while providing accessible tools for long-term wellness and creating safe spaces for healing and growth.
