Jamila Machealla Hope

Jamila Machealla Hope, 25, proudly represents the vibrant and culturally rich village of Moruga. Inspired from an early age by compassion and a strong sense of purpose, she has pursued diverse qualifications, including Flight Attendant Training, Spanish, Events Decorating, and Early Childhood Care and Education from the University of Trinidad and Tobago. Currently, she is working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Social
Work at the University of the West Indies, driven by her commitment to advocate for children’s holistic development and well-being.

Jamila balances her academic and advocacy work with active interests such as swimming, athletics, modeling, and cultural exchange through language learning. Through her platform “Hope Brings Change,” she supports children’s behavioral and mental health by promoting awareness and providing community support. With her diverse skills and passion, Jamila is dedicated to creating positive change and uplifting future generations.
